The name Zenshin dojo refers to a collection of locations where approximately 80 adult members practice their chosen art in a relaxed and friendly environment common to each location. Each venue has it's own unique identity and is led by an experienced instructor whose role is to act as a guide to beginners and coach for the more advanced student. Zenshin dojo also benefits from a thriving Junior section, for more information about how practising karate can help a child’s development please visit our Juniors page. • We do not encourage anyone to invest in special clothing - tracksuit bottoms and a T-shirt are fine to start with

• We suggest you wait about 3 weeks before joining the club (after this time we will all know if you want to carry on)

• Your visit and (hopefully) membership is special to us and we want you to carry on, so if there are things that puzzle you or things you want clarification on, please ask - we want to help

• If it all seems a bit odd or hard at first, we understand. It was that way for all of us. All we ask is that you persevere for a while, after all, something as special as
  karate can be, does not come without effort so stick with it
