About us

The Zenshin dojo martial arts Club, has approximately 80 regular adult members who practice their chosen art in a relaxed and friendly environment at St John's Church Hall, High Street Keynsham, Bristol and the Grange School, Warmley, Bristol and Bath. The club also benefits from a thriving junior section, for more information please visit our Juniors page.

 

All of our venues have a mixed range of abilities and ages. On Wednesday evening we run a ladies only class at The Page Community Centre in Staple Hill, Bristol.

Through the study of martial arts we have forged strong links with friends and fellow karate ka from all over the world. Members from our club regularly visit other European countries to eat, drink, sight see and of course practice some!


Throughout the year we often welcome reciprocal visits from, Italy, France, Switzerland, Portugal, Belgium and Canadian students. We have excellent relationships with well respected Japanese karate masters and attend international karate meetings and practice events in Japan.

We are proud ambassadors of our art and recognise and respect the positive relationships that can be created through an open-minded approach to friendship and practice.
